Buried beneath the mountains of frost
Years of silent sorrow grim and dark
My winterwings of evil sleep in eternal nights
In deaths cold crypts of snow
The moon chimed my return
With the blackstorms I came
And not with the winds
Northern darkness marches through the coldest night
I can't resist the taste of the wintermoon
I split my tongue for the taste of these winds
And bathe my eyes in its grace
Frost and winter returns to my eyes
The call of the wintermoon
In the grey mist of deaths horizon
My wintermoon of evil sleeps
In deaths cold crypts of snow
Buried beneath the mountains of frost
Years of silent sorrow grim and dark
Into eternal nights
Hearing the call of the wintermoon.
I can't resist the taste of the winds of the moon
I split my tongue for the taste these winds
And bathe my eyes in its grace
Frost and winter returns to my eyes
The call of the wintermoon

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

It's a fierce black metal record that has this really cool melodic parts that they seem to have singled out so it shines like a forest fire. Cool record althroughout and has been a favourite of mine eversince.
Get on it. Warangelic
