lyrics
Teeth forced from gum
Never have I felt so numb
Don't want to stay, just got to break away
They've got me in these shackles from my wrists down to my ankles
I still won't pray, to your god I'm a stray
A heretic with morals plays no part in all your quarrels
You pray, to your deaf god.
And I see, what you do, fail to see me in you
I see, what you do, fail to see me, failed to be free
You pray, to your deaf god.
Blood salts the earth
Ever spilled since my birth
This whole shade's grey, the shine just rusts away
They've got me in this stockade far beyond this endless blockade
I still won't pray, to your god I'm a stray
A heretic with standards who is done with walking backwards
You pray, to your deaf god.
And I see, what you do, fail to see me in you
I see, what you do, fail to see me, failed to be free
You pray, to your deaf god.
Ever caught sight of your diseased reflection?
Every imperfection of your pockmarked complexion
Grinning through ground teeth no hope of redemption
Your weight makes it hard to breathe
my fists are bound so I can't thieve
You pray, to your deaf god.
And I see, what you do, fail to see me in you
I see, what you do, fail to see me, failed to be free

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
