We were never allowed heroes
Let down by the silent who chose
We were never allowed heroes
Kept down, never willing to oppose
I watched it die
I watched it killed
By the hands of my people
I watched it squirm in agony
And squeal at the betrayal
I watched it die
I watched it killed
I saw the flag it's torn asunder
I saw the people in the square
And I could taste their anger
I say to you we rise to fight
Stand up for what is your birthright
This thing has stirred the people
Now there's no turning back
This union’s more than fragile
Don't move forward, just cut back
It’s time to storm the castle
It’s time to take things back
This unions more than fragile
Don't move forward, just cut back
Poisoned by their broadcast arrows
Fired into every burgh
Poisoned by their broadcast arrows
March our future to the gallows
I watched it die
I watched it killed
By the hands of my people
I watched it squirm in agony
And squeal at the betrayal
I watched it die
I watched it killed
I saw the flag it's torn asunder
I saw the people in the square
And I could taste their anger
We break in two and lose all sight
Against this rule we must unite
This thing has stirred the people
Now there's no turning back
This union’s more than fragile
Don't move forward, just cut back
It’s time to storm the castle
It’s time to take things back
This unions more than fragile
Don't move forward, just cut back

It was was left to the cast of a die
Weighed heavily to one side
My people gripped by madness
‘Til the rocks melt in the sun
My people racked with sadness
‘Til the rocks melt in the sun
Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
this their most solid release to date, there other records are all insanely brilliant, you should buy them if you enjoy this for sure. keep kicking ass and putting some of the best sludge this decade. Ryan Graham
